Tied For Last

The band only found out about the show the day before, but decided it'd be more fun to play for people than it would've been to have our regular Sunday morning practice.

The festival was as cheesy as one would expect a Long Island street fair to be (for good and bad).

The band was told that we were going on at 1:45, so our good friends Caroline and Jenn worked the crowd to find young people who might be interested in stopping by. Unfortunately, the band preceding us was playing to no audience (literally), and decided to call it quits at 1pm. The promoter (and that band's leader) told us we needed to get on by 1:15, and that we'd have about a half-hour set.

We went on and played our set minus Song for the Ladies and P&L. and got a small
(and quite young - circa 14) crowd, but they were pretty cool and were having fun so that's all that matters.

Tom played the entire set with a brace on his left (fretting) hand because he had sprained his thumb playing football the day before. I altered all of the cursing in the songs because there were many children passing by. The band was very tired and it showed. We weren't as energetic as usual, but we still sounded good.
