Tuesday August 20, 2002
The Elbow Room
144 Bleecker Street
Greenwich Village, NYC, NY

First band of the night.

Because the Elbow Room records cds from the board and is known for having really good sound, we had planned to record this show as a "Live Album" demo so that we had something to distribute to our friends and future bookers.

The bad news is that, due to really horrendous cd mixing (all bass - all the time), we couldn't get enough songs off the final master to use as a demo. The good news is that the show itself went pretty well. Barring some between-song feedback from Tom's guitar, the room sound was pretty good.

We saw a lot of new faces in the audience and got a really positive audience reaction. Rumor had it that there was to be a record label guy in the house, but the truth is that he came about 10 minutes after the set was done. Oh well, we'll get him next time.

A few songs from the aborted "live album" can be heard here on the MUSIC page
