Tied For Last

Second band of a three band night.

Opened for the Dry Heaves.

Not sure why Kenny's - which usually has at least 5 bands on Fridays and Saturdays - only had three scheduled. That meant that damn near the whole crowd was personal friends of ours and/or The Dry Heaves, but it also meant that there was no carry-over crowd from other bands (the first band on brought about four people), and no crowd of regulars. Good thing we and the heaves have a lot of friends!

It was our first Manhattan weekend gig (courtesy of the Dry Heaves), and it was definitely our tightest gig to date. We also had the most fun on stage yet.

No glaring errors, and the ones that we noticed were so small as to not really matter anyway.

Played all our songs except "Stay Up and Talk to Me" The sound was great (as always the case at Kenny's) and the crowd (our largest yet, despite the lack of a draw from the other band) was VERY responsive.

And then, to top it off, we got to stay after and watch the Dry Heaves blow the roof off the joint.
